Magical nights in Venice

Apart from its obvious beauty and laidback lifestyle, Venice has a surprise up its sleeve for interested travellers – a throbbing pulsating nightlife. Although it is no Vegas, Venice can still offer you a magical night out. The obvious choices are:
Piazza San Marco: this central offers quite a few diversions. However those in the know head to cafe Quadri or Florian for live music. Large crowds gather here to listen to popular tunes, but even if you don’t enjoy the music, you'll obviously enjoy sitting down enjoying the magical scenery of Piazza San Marco lit at night.
Casanova Music Cafe: This is Venice's only Disco, located on busy Lista di Spagna in the Cannareggio district. Although the space feels somewhat cramped at times, it still offers some reasonably eclectic music.
Piccolo Mondo: Opposite the Accademia cinema, this small club attracts a vibrant crowd and is usually chock-a-block and lively.
Martini Scala Club Piano Bar: Enjoy live music while you dine in this stylish retaurant. Dress appropriately in formal clothing.
Le Bistro de Venice: Venetian cuisine with some very old but enjoyable recipes is the USP, however, it is very expensive. A varied cultural program ranging from cabaret to poetry readings is on offer.
Casino Municpale: The graceful Palazzo Vendramin Calergi is located on the Grand Canal, bask in the magnificent 18th century setting of the palace. It can truly be your most memorable evening.

947Club: The club offers wonderful lounge ambience with live DJ and excellent service; has a chic restaurant attached, as well.

Campo Santa Margherita - A few bars at either end of the square can be enjoyed if a vibrant party scene is what interests you. Bars are open till 3 or 4am.
Stazione Marittima - A large disco and beer / wine hall by the river on the south of the main island, a few minutes walk SW from square above. Directly south of Piazzale you will hear the music and see the lights, don’t miss it. It closes about 3 or 4am.
